1,500 Sailors Now Signed Up For Record Breaking Challenge

More than 1,500 sailors from 550 clubs around the globe have now signed up for a world record attempt in memory of a Dorset Olympian.

The challenge on the 21st September will be to carry out the largest sailing race in the world.

Called "Bart's Bash", its being organised by the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation.

Andrew known as "Bart" died in a training accident in San Fransisco Bay while preparing for the America's Cup in May 2013.
