In local football - in the week when councillors rejected plans for a new stadium for Weymouth - the club welcomed 5th placed Hitchin Town to the Bob Lucas and drew 2-2. Adam Kelly had put the Terras 1-0 up early in the first half, and then needed a late equaliser from Stewart Yetton to gain a point.

Dorchester Town travelled to Biggleswade Town and lost 4-1, with Dan Cann scoring a consolation goal. They face Weymouth at the Bob Lucas on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon.

In the Toolstation Western Premier Division Bridport were away to Brislington, and it finished 0-0. Bridport Reserves beat Hamworthy Reserves 2-1.

And Portland were at home to Hamworthy Recreation in the Wessex League, and won 3-2.
