Dorchester Town had a first round FA Cup first round qualifier away at Yate Town under the guidance of new Manager Graham Kemp, and he got off to a winning start as goals from Dan Smith and Dan Cann gave Dorchester a 2-1 victory.

Weymouth were also in FA Cup action away at Mangotsfield United, and Chris Shephard and Stewart Yetton scored in the first 4 minutes, and there was a last minute goal from Jordan Copp. But red cards for Ed Palmer and Jake Wannell put the Terras down to 9 in the second-half, but they held on to book their place in the next round. They're away at Histon next Saturday.

Bridport were at home to Winterbourne United in the league, and goals from Dan Wise and a brace from Warren Byerley gave them a 3-1 win.They play Shepton Mallet at home on Tuesday evening at 7:45pm.

Portland United hosted Shaftesbury and won 4-1.
