Another Winning Weekend For Our Football Teams?

Another Winning Weekend For Our Football Teams?

Published at 7:39am 20th September 2014.

All of Dorset's leading non-league sides go into today's games having won last weekend.

Weymouth have the long trip to Cambridgeshire to face Histon, hoping for a victory which will put them 2nd in the southern League Premier Division table, as long as Dunstable slip up in their match.

Manager Jason Matthews has injury problems.'' Sam Poole needs another week before he can return to match fitness and Ed Palmer needs a fitness test ahead of today's game but the side are in good spirits,'', he told Wessex FM.

Dorchester manager Gary Kemp will be without Nick Crittenden when they host Hungerford Town.  New signing Chris Dillon will make his debut in what will be Kemp's first league game in charge. He's also hoping to complete another signing in time to play. Magpies are currently in 18th place.

Bridport are going for a hat trick of wins when they visit Hallen. Manager Trevor Senior will use the same squad of players that earned a midweek win over Shepton Mallett which took them to 6th place in the Toolstation Western Premier.

Portland United travel to Blandford United in the Dorset Premier League Cup.  That match will kick off at 2.30pm.
