Saturday Football And Rugby Results

Weymouth lost 3-0 away at Histon, having gone down to 10 men after just 3 minutes as Jake Wannell was shown a red card. They now have two games against Bideford, with the first in the league on Tuesday evening away, and then a home FA Cup tie next weekend.

Dorchester beat Hungerford 1-0, with a second half goal from Ben Joyce. They're away at Abingdon Utd in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Bridport lost 1-0 away at Hallen.

In the Dorset Premier League Cup, Portland Utd beat Blandford Utd on penalties. It had finished 4-4 after normal and extra time, and Portland then won the penalty shoot-out 4-2.

In the rugby, the newly named Weymouth & Portland beat Dorchester's 2nd team 38-18, whilst their 1st team lost at home to Walcot 5-20.
