Plaque Unveiled At Weymouth And Portland Rugby Club

Weymouth & Portland RFC unveiled a Plaque at the club to mark the clubs change of name from Weymouth RFC to Weymouth & Portland RFC. The plaque will take pride of place in the clubhouse and will provide an historical reminder of this important date for the club;

The unveiling of the plaque was performed by the honorable alderman Jess Nagel assisted by W & P R F C chairman Ian McMillan. Jess presented some of the Mini & Youth players with some training balls, which she had kindly sponsored.

The event was also attended by Dorset & Wilts president John Constable, past president John Palmer and RFU past president Willie Wildash.
