9-year-old Dorchester Motocross Rider Gets Ready For Major Competition

Age is no barrier to this little speed demon as a 9-year-old from Dorchester gears up for the Weston-super-Mare Beach Race.
Tristan Daniels is one the youngest bike riders competing in the event being held tomorrow (18 October) that will see him ride 75 minutes in the Junior class.
The event is now in its 32nd year and attracts thousands of motocross riders and fans from all over Europe for one of the most demanding races in the motocross calendar.
Having started racing at 6 on a 50cc automatic bike, this is the young dare devil's first season on a 65cc bike.
He told Wessex FM; "I can't wait to tackle such a well-known event, it will be hard but I just want to do myself proud."
