Another young footballer from Weymouth will walk out on the pitch tonight as a mascot - this time for Liverpool's game with Real Madrid.

Who says lighting doesn't strike twice? It's clearly not true for the young Weymouth footballers at Redlands Under 9s as a second player from the squad will be a Champions League mascot tonight.

This time all the attention will be on their goalkeeper Hedley Richardson who's stepping out at Anfield for Liverpool's clash with Real Madrid.

It's the second time in two months the team has seen a member of its squad make a Champions League appearance as mascot.

Their coach Bob Mowlem told Wessex FM "I don't think this has ever happened to me before where two boys from my squad of 10 players have been chosen to be mascots in the Champions League matches."
