In local football - Dorchester Town are in action in the league today as the Magpies look to turn around back-to-back defeats.

They're playing Biggleswade Town at the Avenue Stadium but manager Graham Kemp says injuries are taking their toll on his side.

He said: " It's been very frustrating the last two or three weeks. We lost three players in the lead up to the FA Cup game and since then we've lost two more. So at the moment we're probably without five first teamers tomorrow."

Weymouth Town are trying to take the form that saw them demolish Cranborne 7-1 in the Dorset Senior Cup as they travel to Hitchin Town in the league.

But Terras Boss Jason Matthews told Wessex FM "They took a point off us at home this season which is the only team to do that so we're expecting a really tough game."

Bridport are in action in the league as they travel to take on Winterbourne Utd after the Bees edged through to the next round of the FA Vase in the week.

Manager Trevor Senior says they've been ready for different kind of challenge.

He said "They play on an artificial pitch which is not to everybody's liking but we've been training on it recently at Thomas Hardye. So we've got used to playing on it and hopefully it won't hinder us."

Also Portland are home to Westland Sports in a 2pm kick off.
