Dorchester stopped their losing run with a 2-2 draw against Cambridge City. Sam Lanahan opened the scoring in the 23rd minute against the run of play, and Dan Smith found the goal soon after the half-time break. Later in the second-half the referee hobbled off the pitch injured, but luckily one of the spectators was able to replace a linesman who took over on the field and the game continued, with the visitors finding an equaliser in stoppage time. The Magpies are at home again next Saturday against Corby Town.

In the FA Trophy it ended goalless between Weymouth and Burnham, with the replay on Tuesday evening.

And in the Les Phillips Cup Bridport beat Winterbourne United 5-1, with goals from Jamie Symes, Warren Byerley, Alan Richardson, Jamie Filkins and Adam Symes.

In the rugby Weymouth and Portland nearly fought back at home to the Swanage and Wareham second team, but the Swans held on to win 20-15.
