Football - A Look Ahead At Today's Local Fixtures

In local football - it's a case of home sweet home for Weymouth, as the Terras make their long awaited return to the Bob Lucas in the league after 92 days away.

Jason Matthews' team are up against Banbury United who sit rock bottom of the league.

But Jason says he's not taking their visitors lightly.

He told Wessex FM: "Most sides are capable of beating most sides so we need to be on our metal. We're looking forward to a league game to enhance our promotion push."

Elsewhere, Bridport will be trying to continue their fine form in the league that's seen the Bees go unbeaten in their last five games in the division.

But Trevor Senior's side is facing a tough challenge as they travel to Bristol Manor Farm.

If his team can get a result Trevor says it proves they're title contenders: "There were some good results for us in the week when some of the top teams lost.

"We're 4 points off the top but equally we're only 12 points above bottom place, so that shows you how tight the league is. But another 3 points will cement our position."

Dorchester are also in action and will look to make it three wins in a row as they travel to St Neots Town.
