Women's Rugby World Cup Trophy In Dorset Today

The biggest trophy in Women's rugby is coming to Dorset today (12th December) to help inspire more ladies to take up the game.

England won the Women's Rugby World Cup this year and the trophy will be visiting Swanage and Wareham's Bestwall ground at 6:30pm tonight.

There's going to be an introduction to rugby session, as well as the chance to have your picture taken with the trophy as part of the Dorset & Wilts. women and girls player development

Current England women's under 20 rugby head coach Jo Yapp, who has 70 England international caps will also be on hand to give some tips and pointers for those starting out.

England beat Canada 21-9 in Paris to win the Women's Rugby World Cup for the first time in 20 years.
