9:13am 26th December 2014

In local football - old rivalries will be kicking off when Weymouth take on Dorchester today (26/12).

The Terras are in fine form after winning their last seven league games in a row and will be looking to take all three points from the match at the Avenue Stadium.

Manager Jason Matthews said it's always an exciting fixture.

He told Wessex FM: "It's a massive game for the fans and it means a hell of a lot. Obviously I've played at the Avenue when there's been 4,400 fans watching and the atmosphere is unreal."

"I think at the level we play at, this derby is unrivalled by anyone in non-league football."

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Elsewhere Bridport are at home to Street.  That match will Kick Off at 12 Midday.

Portland United have their annual Boxing Day Charity match at Grove Corner this morning.

They're taking on a side put together by Ex Weymouth Manager Brendon King.

Its free to get in but they'll be a collection and money raised will go to The Three L's Trust.

Kick off is at 11am this morning.
