Dorchester Town made the trip to Devon to take on Tiverton Town for a place in the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Cup. The hosts were 1-0 up at half-time, and then extended their lead when they converted a penalty, with Alhaji Sesay who's on loan from Bristol City shown a red card. Final score was Tiverton 2 Dorchester 0.

Weymouth had the afternoon off, and will face Staines next Saturday.

In the Western League Premier, Bridport entertained Brislington at St Mary's Field, and it was goalless at half-time with Mark Salter having missed a penalty. The visitors then scored after the break and it finished 1-0 in their favour.

Meanwhile in the Sydenhams Wessex League, Portland United travelled to Hampshire to face Hamble, and they came away with a 3-2 victory.

In rugby and Puddletown beat Oakmedians 20-17.
