This is the second time the Weymouth GH Podiatry Cowboys came up against the higher ranked team, the Dorset Spartans  The last game was a defeat but this time Weymouth had the home advantage and they are looking for revenge with a strong team.

Weymouth was ready to win, the team came with high intensity offence and defence. Brett Dunster started off the game with the opening two points. GH Podiatry Cowboys defence were brutally punished with raining threes from the opposing team, we couldn't pressure the shooters in time hitting back-to-back threes through-out the quarter. Promising rebounds from Matt Board kept Dorset from slipping away with the game early on. The quarter ended 21 - 28 to the Spartans.

The second quarter started out with Steve Howlett on fire with his valuable mid range shooting and ended the game with a 100% field goal percentage. In addition, guard Giles Heaman unafraid of contact driving into the lane against stronger defenders, weaved his way through traffic for tough but successful lay-ups. Sam Dodge got active under the basket assisting the team with some defensive and offensive rebounds and key put-backs. From a tiring first quarter either teams barely scored more than a single digit as the half ended 32 - 42 to the Spartons.

The entire Weymouth side took their game to the next level coming into the half. Jake Durston pressured the three ball on the defensive end all quarter as Carl Carter got creative on defence, producing some vital steals, managed to bring Weymouth closer to a win. The GH Podiatry Cowboys kept the Spartans to only 13 points as well as scoring 19 to bring the game to within 4. The quarter ended 51 - 55 to the Spartans.

Coming into the forth, Ben Stokey showed a  lot of potential in the post offence and defence causing trouble for the opposing team to create a shot and cut to the basket. Jamie Harris had taken over the scoring position in the fourth quarter with a scoring burst of 8 points in 8 minutes; it was too late for the GH Podiatry Cowboys. The Spartans came and defeated the GH Podiatry Cowboys once more 61 - 72.
