Magpies are £ 11,313 better off thanks to a pay out from the FA Cup Pool.

The Football Association has announced that 32 non League clubs who played in the FA Cup 1st Round last season will each receive the sum of £11,313 from the FA Cup Pool.

This pool of money is derived from replays in the latter rounds of the competition, whereby clubs hosting replays from the 3rd Round onwards pay 5% of the gate receipts into the pool.

With the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal staging replays the pool share for the 2012/13 season is the best ever paid out.

Dorchester Town FC are one of those beneficiaries having reached the First Round proper, facing Plymouth Argyle eventually beating them 1-0 in front of the ESPN cameras securing a 2nd round tie against Luton Town.

Meanwhile Dorchester Town  will host newly promoted Championship side AFC Bourmemouth in a pre-season friendly.

It will be on Wednesday 24th July , kick off 7.45pm.
