Max the Litter Warrior!

3:07pm 13th July 2018

Meet Max.  Max is just five years old, and he's cleaning up Portland, one piece of litter at a time.

His mum Sandra got in touch to tell us more about his brilliant efforts:

Hi I am messaging you on behalf of my son Max, who's 5 years old. On his way to and from school he has always been aware of the litter and not been happy about it. So he took it upon himself to clean the world one peace of litter at a time (his words!).  We have been doing this now for a couple of months and fill three carrier bags a week.

Today on his way to school his grabber in one hand and bag in the other, the lollipop man stopped me and told me he deserves a thank you of some sort. So this is my attempt at getting my son a thank you that we think he has earnt. He don't know I am sending this.

So we've got one thing to say ...

WELL DONE MAX!!!
