He will join Jimmy Cliff and the Levellers at the three day event which runs from the 15th-19th July.

Sir Tom Jones is back to kick things off on Wednesday 15th July headlining the Main Stage.

Festival Founder James Shepard told Wessex FM they had to get the Welsh singer back to Dorset for another year:

"He did an absolutely stunning show last year, and the tickets went very quickly, leaving a lot of people disappointed, so we had to get him back for our 25th year.

"It was just a party for a few friends to start with and it's grown from there really. We think we've got the perfect festival now and we're going to carry on for as long as we can."

Larmer Tree Festival are also pleased to welcome back folk-punk band Levellers as one of the headline acts on Thursday evening. This very special band only recently turned 25 themselves and are no strangers to the festival, having performed in both 2008 and 2012. Taking to the main stage on Friday are acoustic guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela. Originally part of a Mexican thrash metal band, the pair mix the  tempestuous genres of jazz, rock, nuevo flamenco and heavy metal. Their set demonstrates the band’s diversity with remarkable sounds that will have everyone dancing and leave festival-goers wanting more.

Femi Kuti & The Positive Force will be showcasing their unique Afrobeat style with a blend of funk, jazz and African folk. Accompanied by his band The Positive Force, Kuti will wow the crowd with songs from his Grammy nominated albums on Saturday night. Closing the festival on Sunday night Jimmy Cliff completes the festival’s headline line-up. With a career spanning nearly 50 years, and playing tracks from his

celebrated 2012 album, Rebirth, Cliff promises to deliver an unforgettable set of popular reggae to leave the audience on fine form for the last night of the five-day party.
