Paranormal Activity in Dorchester

Paranormal Misfits Screening at Tom Browns

(Updated 3:21pm 31st October 2016)

1:54pm 31st October 2016

If you're not trick or treating tonight, head down to Tom Browns to see things that really go bump in the night.

The Dorchester pub is hosting a screening of a new TV show which investigates ghostly activity across the country.

The Paranormal Misfits will be on Sky Channel 212 at 11pm and Dorchester's own Jack Hilton is starring in the series.

Recounting his most unnerving supernatural encounter, he told Wessex FM about a moment he was filming the series at the Oak House in West Bromwich.

"We were recording with this thing called a REM Pod. It flashes every time something goes near it - an anomaly, an entity, etc. We had a camera set on it.

"Two facial recognition squares came up on the screen and then the REM Pod just went ballistic!"

Despite facing much scepticism, Jack says seeing is believing: "It is 100% genuine. I think we have discovered things viewers will believe. I do believe our show will prove that there is something out there."
